Conformity is boring.

It's for the average—the ordinary.

You are neither.

It's time...
...to be and do all you were meant to.
...to totally ditch conformity in every area of your life. ...to finally create the passionate, fulfilling life you Desire, with fearless intentionality.

Stan's Bio

Stan Maszczak (pronounced MAY-zack) is a professional speaker, diversity educator, and nonconformance coach, helping people of all genders totally ditch conformity so they can thrive in personal & professional relationships, career, creativity, and spirituality. He's a U.S. Army combat veteran who identifies as genderqueer and gay, and has an affinity for high heels, the oxford comma, non-binary fashion, and inflicting cognitive dissonance on everyone who could use some.

A two-tour Iraq combat veteran with the U.S. Army and military member for 17+ years, Stan served both during “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and after its repeal. He began his career as a military police Soldier, transitioning into Public Affairs as a broadcast journalist and then Public Affairs Chief, and now serves as an Equal Opportunity Advisor. Over the last 18 years, he has served in both civilian and military leadership roles for teams and organizations ranging from 5 to 2,000 people. Stan is an Energy Leadership Index™ Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) with the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), holds Department of Defense certifications in equal opportunity practice, training, small group facilitation, and mediation, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Pace University in New York City. He is an ordained metaphysical minister and practitioner through the International Metaphysics Ministry (I.M.M.) and earned his Bachelor of Metaphysical Science (B.Msc.) from the University of Metaphysics.

Stan’s passions for equality, social justice, and facilitating empowerment in creative self-expression stem from his life experiences. He grew up and served in leadership in fundamentalist Christian communities, unwelcoming toward LGBTQIA+ people. After many years of attempting to change his sexual orientation through individual and group programs, Stan finally spent more than a year studying, praying, and researching Greek and Hebrew Biblical texts to reconcile his faith and sexuality at age 25. Reinvigorated by his newfound freedom and passion for faith and life, he moved to Los Angeles and volunteered with LGBTQIA+ faith communities, focused on facilitating similar reconciliation and reconnection between ostracized LGBTQ people and their faith. He later moved to New York City and now resides in Virginia.

Stan loves speaking and working with creatives, professionals, teams, and nonconformers of all kinds as they gain deeper connection with their passions and purpose, finding new ways to ditch conformity to experience fulfillment in life, creativity, and spirituality.

Why Stan?

Because our lives on this planet are too short to spend them hiding our truest Selves, pushing away the creativity and passions that tug at our hearts, minds, and souls on the daily.

Because the life you want is possible—in ways you can’t even imagine right now.

Because the world desperately needs us—our truest Selves—in order for it to be as beautiful, life-giving, and whole as it can.

Because there’s a reason you have the passions, gifts, talents, and persistent callings that you do.

Because you don’t have to give in to the pressure to conform—this is actually an option we all have—you can opt out of conformance in any moment of any day.

Because you are art—you are beautiful—and you are worthy of expression, love, and authenticity, in every area of your life—creatively, spiritually, mentally, physically.

What One-On-One Clients Are Saying

When I started coaching with Stan I was unmotivated by a project that seemed to have no purpose or direction. Professional standards dictated I finish it, while I felt no desire to do so or connection to the work. Stan helped me reconnect to the values that drive my work, something I had been ignoring, and I was able to make a decision not only to continue the project but to revise it in ways that reflected who I am and why I do this work. Stan’s values-based, outcome-driven approach, blended with (very) subtle humor and incisive perception, not only unblocked my writing but also reminded me of my purpose. Priceless.

My transformation has been above and beyond positive. Taking the ELI assessment gave me a lot of clarity on how my thought processes kept leading me to look at situations negatively. Self-judgment for my creative and work life has lessened and I know, through performance and validation by customers and management, I do a great job. This has come in the form of great work reviews (which leads to a bigger bonus) and return customers for voice over and music work. I have cut back on taking everything as an indictment of my performance and turned it into taking feedback as direction—my biggest breakthrough so far. I’ve learned that there isn’t just one choice for anything, and it’s opened possibilities at work and home. The true transformation has been in keeping an open mind to possibilities instead of seeing everything as being concrete.

Having someone help ask the tough questions and guide you when needed is very helpful. I know I have been growing with each session and I definitely learn something each week. I have grown my own self-worth and confidence. I am less fearful of staying stagnant and stuck which is how I’ve felt for the past few years.
